'The Pop In has existed in New Addington for over 60 years and supports our elderly and disabled residents.  This isn’t just a place to find company, refreshments and warmth, the centre also provides many amenities such as transport to and from via minibus, hearing aid services, chiropody, hairdressing, a jumble room, armchair yoga, darts, entertainment, day trips and much more.

Post pandemic lockdowns, the Pop-In has played such an important role in reintegrating our more mature residents to feel safe to mingle again thus reducing social isolation, and is another concerned eye to be kept over those who may have been released from hospital to ensure they are coping.

Sadly, the Pop-In lost its Council funding as of 31st March 2023. Many of the community are pulling together to fundraise, a gofundme page has been set up, and bids are being written. Pathfinders had the idea of creating a video to show potential funders just how much the Pop-In means to us.'
